The ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center) database is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education to provide extensive access to educational-related literature.

Provides coverage of journal articles, conferences, meetings, government documents, theses, dissertations, reports, audiovisual media, bibliographies, directories, books and monographs.

ERIC: Search Tools

Basic Search - Assumes terms are separate, for example, searching medical education will be translated by ERIC to medical AND education. To search as a phrase use quotation marks, "medical education"

Advanced Search and Command Line Search sections provide you with search fields in dropdown lists for you to use in your search to tap into specific bits of indexed document information.
