Americans with Disabilities Act

2015 marks the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). 

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) prohibits discrimination and ensures equal opportunity for persons with disabilities in employment, State and local government services, public accommodations, commercial facilities, and transportation. 

As a federal civil rights law, discrimination is prohibited against individuals with disabilities in every day activities, including medical services.
